Animal Portraits

I am a professional artist living and working in Berkshire and specialise in painting animal portraits. I am always busy with portrait commissions in pencil, pen, watercolour or acrylic paints.

Cartoons

My family and animals provide me with plenty of material for cartoons. I’ve enjoyed making bespoke pictures for many clients. Often people chat with me about their ideas and I’m able to reflect their life with an amusing cartoon

 

Contemporary Paintings

My favourite set of pictures are of race horses on the gallops with a strong black linear style and bright acrylic inks. I wanted to get to the essence and vitality of the horses while expressing their beauty.

I have exhibited and sold my painting work in several galleries.

My Background

I have always been a practising artist and that is going back a while now! I mainly do animal portraits though I have painted children, landscapes, houses and boats.

In 2007 I graduated from The University of West London with a B.A (Hons) 2.1 for Art in the Community.  I still teach a weekly class called ‘art as therapy’ to people with head injuries at a local charity. This has been a really rewarding job for me and my students have been able to relax their minds as well as extend their talent.
